I’d like to introduce myself. Because I’ve had an interesting influx of new followers over the past month.

My name is Kyo. Sometimes people call me Amy too, don’t mind them. I’m an eighteen year old college student who doesn’t know how to survive properly. I’ve been told I have my own kind of language and logic, so do feel free to interpret whatever I say or do however you wish. I would tell you that I’m friendly and kind and would love to talk to you, however—I’ll admit now that I don’t like myself, so you’ll often see me say things about myself that conflict with this “friendly” person that I say I am. I really open on here actually, but don’t assume that everything is told completely like the pages of a book you are familiar with, I have my own ways of not entirely revealing myself despite how honest I actually am. Make sense?

I get tend to get questions about my sexuality a lot so I’ll say this up front… I don’t exactly like to label myself, but I did find comfort in learning this term: I’m a genderqueer pansexual. So furthering this subject, if you ask me my gender (which has happened) I will not give you a “straight” answer. Ever. I don’t feel like it’s “me” to answer with one or the other. Moving on, moving on…

Basics? Well, I like lions, they’re my favorite animal and yet, I am most certainly a dog person. I listen to abhorrent amounts of Korean pop. I adore, insanely adore the group Girls’ Generation and that fact will manifest itself on my blog more than likely daily. I’m 5’3 and weighing more than you probably think I do. I am just another youngster trying to accomplish some goals. I am just another kid who will claim to be a vampire, likes black and silver clothing, wears a lot of boots and faux leather jackets, who works at a fast food joint, and will eat frozen yogurt all day every day if it were plausible. I’m passionate and most severely in love with writing, but that doesn’t mean I write a lot on this blog, nor does that mean I’m any good at it. But needless to say, I am a lover of words and one who loves with words. My most cherished goal is to publish books one day. I aspire to be like Cassandra Clare.

Should be fairly obvious, but regardless, I love books and reading. I also watch a lot of anime, and supernatural type movies for the most part. I love the Vampire Diaries telly show too. Oh, and if it interests anyone, I am half Japanese, half English, Irish and German. I live in Southern California, in a small, quaint little city. I want to go try attempting a short story now though, so I’ll stop now I suppose. Hm, it’s not too much but there you have it, a few details on me. I’m not particularly interesting but well, hello there, have a nice day. (or evening.)
